About This Plant
Van Eijk is a classic Darwin Hybrid tulip introduced in the early 1990s by the Dutch breeder D.W. Lefeber & Co. It features large, cup-shaped blooms in a rich rose-pink hue with subtle bluish undertones, held on strong, upright stems that reach 20 to 24 inches tall. The flowers can span up to 6 inches across and bloom in early to mid-spring—making Van Eijk one of the earliest Darwin Hybrids to flower.
