Our story

A small family nursery from Plano, Texas

We're the family behind DreamDrop Gardens. We grow flowering plants in our home garden in Plano, roses and clematis above all, because we think everybody deserves their dream garden, whether that's a big backyard or a little patio. It all started with one gift for one mom, and somehow it grew into a nursery that sends plants to gardeners all over Texas and across the country.

How it started

Fifty plants and one very surprised mom

It started with a gift. Warda was hunting for one very specific plant for her mom. It was out of season, and no garden center around Plano had it. So she called a nursery and ordered by mail, and by the time she hung up, she'd ordered fifty plants.

Mom loved it. She also told Warda it was far too many plants. So the extras went to gardeners around town.

Warda already loved gardening, and selling on Facebook Marketplace meant meeting other gardeners: trading tips, learning something new at every pickup, and making real friends along the way. What started as a little hobby during Covid turned into the side business we run today.

Why we keep growing

A garden to come back to

Warda's day job keeps her at a computer for eight-plus hours a day. The garden is the opposite: hands in the soil, something alive to look after, and a quiet reset at the end of the day. It's given her healing and relief, and it still does.

That's the feeling we hope comes along with every plant we send you.

What we believe

Everybody deserves their dream garden

That's where the name DreamDrop Gardens comes from.

We know gardening can get expensive, so we try hard to keep our prices fair. That's why we do pre-orders: you reserve your plants before the season at pre-order prices, pay a deposit now, and pay the rest when your plant ships.

And it doesn't matter if you've got a big yard or a small patio. There's a plant for almost every space: climbers for a fence, compact shrubs for pots, trees for shade. Tell us about your space and we'll help you pick something that'll be happy there.

What we grow

Flowers, mostly roses and clematis

We grow flowering plants, and two have our hearts: roses and clematis. They're what we know best, what fills our own garden, and what we love helping people choose.

Our plants come from local farmers and from breeders and growers we trust, including Certified Nurseries, Star Roses & Plants and Tantau.

Yes, by appointment. Send us a message through the contact page with a few days that work for you. We're happy to make time for gardeners coming from further away, too.

I only have a patio. Is there anything for me?

Absolutely. Lots of roses, shrubs and vines are happy in containers. Tell us your space and how much sun it gets, and we'll suggest plants that fit.
