About This Plant
Texas Flame is a Parrot tulip with bold, wildly ruffled petals splashed in fiery yellow and vivid scarlet-red, creating a dramatic flame‑like pattern that intensifies as the blooms open. Its large, feathery flowers unfurl in late spring, each one twisting and curling into a sculptural, painterly form that stands out in any planting. This variety grows to 18 to 22 inches tall, with strong stems that support its oversized blooms in borders and cutting gardens. Pairs beautifully with Tulip ‘Black Parrot’.
