About This Plant
Foliage isn't typically a rose of Sharon's best feature, but this new selection will make you rethink the ornamental potential of this genus entirely. It's a truly unique and eye-catching foliage plant that flushes bright yellow in spring, then in time and as if by magic, splotches of dark green variegation appear in the center of the lobed, maple-like leaves. Large, amethyst-purple flowers bring magic to mid-summer. Developed by Hortival Diffusion of France, and far faster-growing than any other variegated hibiscus.
