About This Plant
Sometimes, you just get lucky, and that's what happened when we found this improved, more richly-colored seedling of Lavender Chiffon plant growing near the nursery entrance. Dark Lavender Chiffon rose of Sharon’s striking medium purple blooms outshine the pale purple flowers of the original, making it an obvious replacement. An abundance of these lovely ruffled anemone-like blooms dot this Hibiscus syriacus in summer. Its taller-than-wide habit makes Dark Lavender Chiffon rose of Sharon perfect for hedging, screening, or mixed borders. Dark Lavender Chiffon is tolerant of deer, heat, and salt.
