About This Plant

California Dreamin' is a hybrid tea from Meilland with creamy white petals edged in rose pink. The high-centred blooms are about 5 inches across with 28 to 35 petals and a strong citrus fragrance, held on long stems that are good for cutting. A medium, bushy plant 3 to 4 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide with dark green foliage, it repeats in flushes from late spring to frost and does especially well in warm, dry climates. Grow it in full sun in beds, borders or large containers.

Our Tips & Recommendations

Watering

Water deeply twice a week during the first growing season. Once established, roses are moderately drought-tolerant but perform best with consistent moisture at the base.

Pruning

Prune in late winter before new growth begins. Remove dead or crossing branches and shape to an open vase form to improve air circulation and encourage blooms.

Great Companions

Pair with lavender, salvia, or catmint for a stunning cottage garden combination. These companions also help attract pollinators to your roses.
