About This Plant
Get the most from this old-fashioned springtime favorite with Double Take Chaenomeles. Developed by Dr. Tom Ranney and his team at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research & Extension Center in North Carolina, these flowering quinces are thornless with very large, fully doubled blooms. Double Take Orange quince brings a jolt of vibrant color to the spring landscape and attracts migrating orioles. Branches are packed with vibrant orange flowers, blooming in spring with some summer/fall rebloom. Because Double Take Orange quince is thornless, the vivid blooms make excellent cut flowers.
