About This Plant
Narcissus 'February Gold' is a cyclamineus daffodil, reaching 8 to 12 inches in height. It produces bright yellow trumpets with slightly reflexed petals, giving it a distinctive, swept-back appearance. The blooms appear in very early spring, often among the first daffodils to flower, making it a reliable harbinger of the season. Thriving in full sun to part shade, 'February Gold' prefers well-drained soil and is deer-resistant, rabbit-resistant, and drought-tolerant. It naturalizes well, forming expanding clusters over time. This variety has won the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
