About This Plant
Cesky Gold Betula x plettkei adds refreshing color to cold climate landscapes. This shrubby dwarf birch offers season-long interest with tiny chartreuse-yellow leaves with scalloped edges that emerge in sunset hues of orange and red. Cesky Gold dwarf birch is exceptionally hardy–cold tolerant to USDA zone 2. This durable shrub responds well to pruning; it can be shaped, sheared, hedged, used as a miniature patio tree, or left to its appealing natural habit. Its versatility makes it a great choice for many gardens and landscapes. Cesky Gold was developed by Michal Andrusiv in the Czech Republic.
