About This Plant
The newest addition to the Sunjoy series of barberries, Sunjoy Plum Pillar barberry, brings drama with its striking dark purple foliage, and its upright, columnar habit makes it a useful, space-saving landscape or garden shrub. A perfect colorful addition to borders, low hedges, or even a container. This Berberis thunbergii is tough and a breeze to take care of, tolerating urban conditions like parking lots and street plantings, and thanks to its incredible deer resistance, it's part of the Deer Proof program along with the other barberry in the Sunjoy series.
