About This Plant
We are pleased to introduce Sunjoy Mini Maroon sterile dark-leafed barberry. It offers the same rich color and versatile habit you expect from barberry, but with absolutely no nuisance seedlings to spread around. Though it flowers and produces fruit, the seed is not viable. Foliage emerges red in spring, then matures to purple as the season progresses, often acquiring an appealing green margin along the way.
