About This Plant
Finally, an abelia that's bright, bold, beautiful - and well-behaved. Brilliantina abelia has a neat, dense habit that's much less prone to wild "dog leg" shoots, so it needs less pruning both in production and the landscape. Its green, yellow, and orange foliage is also less likely to revert than other variegated cultivars of abelia. Dark red stems add a surprising amount of color and contrast, and white summer flowers bring fragrance and pollinators. Brilliantina abelia has strong roots and is fast for growers to finish.
